Park Hyatt London to launch Tamisé Wine Library and Tea Lounge
Tamisé joins the hotel's drinking and dining portfolio, which includes The Nine Elms outlets and the recently opened Yú Gé Cantonese restaurant
Park Hyatt London River Thames is set to open Tamisé Wine Library and Tea Lounge, a new wine destination, on 14 February 2025.
Inspired by the French word meaning “evoking the gentle dimming of light”, Tamisé has been meticulously crafted by Studio Moren, drawing inspiration from “London’s rich heritage while embracing contemporary elegance”.
The main space features bespoke marble floors and “sophisticated” fabrics in “rich tones”.
The seating areas offer intimate nooks alongside more social gathering spaces, all designed to “maximise the riverside views”.
Anchoring the space is a contemporary wine cellar that doubles as an exclusive private dining room, offering an “intimate” setting for bespoke tastings and special occasions.
Additionally, located within the recently opened Park Hyatt London River Thames, Tamisé showcases over 300 wine labels, comprising more than 2,000 bottles from 24 countries across six continents.
The venue’s dedicated sommeliers guide guests through this carefully curated collection, offering masterclasses and tastings.
Beyond its extensive wine offering, Tamisé presents a selection of premium loose-leaf teas. Tea sommeliers are on hand to guide guests through the collection, ensuring each cup is brewed and paired to individual preferences.
The wine library will operate Thursday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM and a Valentine’s Day programme will mark the venue’s opening weekend.
Tamisé joins the hotel’s drinking and dining portfolio, which includes The Nine Elms outlets and the recently opened Yú Gé Cantonese restaurant.
Rike Erdbrink, general manager of Park Hyatt London River Thames, said: “Tamisé represents a new chapter in London’s wine culture,” says. “It is an extraordinary space that captures the essence of Park Hyatt’s philosophy – a profound reverence for exceptional experiences. Opening on Valentine’s Day allows us to immediately showcase Tamisé as the perfect setting for memorable occasions.”
