Stonegate Group partners with Reef to offer flexible workspaces
Over 300 laptop-friendly Stonegate venues are already available on the Reef app, and more are being added
Stonegate Group, the UK’s largest pub company, has partnered with Reef, an app for remote workers, to offer more than 700 of its venues as flexible, laptop-friendly workspaces.
Remote workers can now work and benefit from exclusive deals at venues including Slug and Lettuce, Proper Pubs and Pub and Dining, through Reef’s hotdesking platform.
According to recent studies, nearly 40% of UK employees now work from home at least part of the week, and 78% report an improved work-life balance due to remote working.
However, challenges such as distractions and isolation at home are leading many to seek alternative spaces like pubs and cafés for a change of environment.
Over 300 laptop-friendly Stonegate venues are already available on the Reef app, and more are being added.
Stonegate stated that the collaboration not only supports the wellbeing of remote workers but also drives footfall into hospitality venues, aligning with its mission to “bring people together through great pubs, bars and venues”.
Using the Reef app, remote workers can register, book spaces, and invite colleagues or friends to collaborate in person. Those booking through Reef will also benefit from exclusive perks, including unlimited soft drinks with lunch from 26 September at selected Stonegate venues.
Samantha Baldwin, head of Sales at Stonegate Group, said: “Our partnership with Reef reflects Stonegate’s commitment to continually improve and innovate across our estate, finding new ways to support communities in our venues.
“We’re proud to offer remote workers inclusive and flexible spaces where they can be productive, connected and supported. We position every site for success, ensuring our venues are welcoming and equipped to meet the needs of today’s hybrid workforce.”
