Stonegate Pub Company invests £205,000 in pub garden
Stonegate Pub Company has announced it has invested £205,000 in the pub garden at its Minories pub in London’s Tower Hill.
The refurbishment has seen the garden double in size with the new area able to seat 200 people. The land the garden has expanded into was previously out of bounds as it was owned by TFL however Stonegate recently acquired the land leading to the refurbishment.
Customers will now be able to purchase meals such as fish and chips from kiosks and bars positioned around the garden. Four private booths with phone charging docks and private television screens have been installed along with a 30-seat pergola in the shape of a butterfly.
Naveen Vangala, pub manager at the Minories, said: “The new improved garden means we have one of the best outdoor spaces in the city. All the covered areas, private booths, pergola and awning have heating making them cosy all year round. The outdoor bar will carry the full range of drinks, and customers are going to love having their own fish and chip shop in the garden.”
The new garden opened this Wednesday.
