Livelyhood, an independent pub group, will open its newest venue, The Artful Duke, this August in Bromley, creating approximately 30 new jobs.
The 3,000 square-foot, 150-cover space will have an array of reclaimed quirky old and new fixtures and fittings, with the front of the pub used as a social space for dining and drinking.
There will also be viewpoints for watching sports, live music and pub quizzes. The pub also supports a 60-cover heated outdoor terrace for al fresco dining and drinking all year round.
Furthermore, the pub will showcase new local suppliers and produce, supporting local businesses to grow as it does, which will be reflected in the menus and drinks lists.
The new opening will bring the company’s portfolio to seven, which currently includes The Clapham North, The Regent in Balham, The Perky Nel in Clapham, The Faber Fox in Crystal Palace, The Mere Scribbler in Streatham and The Old Frizzle in Wimbledon.
