He said: “We’re delighted to have sold the White Hart to Trust Inns. The pub’s proximity to the nearby Hogs Back Brewery and a new residential Bellway development promises growth in the local customer base over the coming years and we have no doubt Trust Inns will ensure the pub prospers whilst remaining at the heart of the local community for many years to come.”

A spokesperson for Trust Inns, added: “Trust Inns are delighted with the acquisition of the White Hart, which fits neatly within our diversely located and segmented portfolio across the UK. As an independently owned company we will continue to buy quality inns and pubs, and we’d like to say thank you to Richard and Christie & Co for their help in the successful purchase of the White Hart.”
