Young’s launches new flexi-work platform for employees

Young’s has announced the launch of a new flexi-work platform, The Ram Agency, which aims to give employees the “power to pick their working hours” as part of its recruitment drive.
The internal platform is designed to offer workers the option to choose their own working hours across Young’s pubs, and comes amid a growing desire for flexible working and better work-life balances within the industry.
Young’s said that flexible working has been identified as a “key deciding factor” for taking a job and in continued job satisfaction, referencing a recent survey from CGA.
The Ram Agency will be available for chefs, front and back-of-house staff, allowing them to create their own working rota by viewing and choosing available shifts across Young’s estate.
To access the platform, prospective staff can apply online with their CV and once accepted, will have access to daily available shifts across the group, with no fixed rota or location.
Young’s noted the agency is available for all hospitality staff to apply, from those with industry experience to students, parents or those looking for part-time work.
