Restaurant Associates to cater for Unity Place
The co-working location will feature a variety of restaurants, leisure destinations and technological innovations
Restaurant Associates has recently won the contract to cater for all food and beverage outlets at Unity Place, a state-of-the-art co-working location which is set to open in Milton Keynes in the early summer of 2023.
Unity Place will also be the new headquarters for Santander UK, as well as a future-forward visitor attraction, workplace, and leisure destination featuring different restaurants, cafes, street food vendors and retail outlets.
Restaurant Associates will provide a variety of dining offers including a premium restaurant, social enterprise café, a sky lounge, bakery, food hall and the management of several conference and event spaces.
The opening of Unity Place is set to create over 90 jobs and the building itself will combine a dynamic working environment with the local area’s range of public amenities. The building’s communal facilities will also include an auditorium for up to 300 guests and a dining facility with a sun terrace on level 7.
In addition, Unity Place presents environmentally-friendly features which have been incorporated with the design, such as rainwater harvesting and extensive solar panels, as well as some technological innovations, including a frictionless retail concept, digital restaurant, and the Unity Place app – all with the aim of providing a seamless and sleek customer experience.
Matt Thomas, managing director of Restaurant Associates, says of the partnership: “Aligned in ethos, we are delighted to be collaborating with Santander UK to develop this unique and dynamic venue which has community and innovation at the heart. All of us involved are looking forward to bringing a modern and sustainable offering to locals and visitors alike in this future-forward destination.”
