Aberdeen’s Fresh Mex restaurant engulfed in flames
Fire crews have attended Aberdeen’s Fresh Mex restaurant after it became engulfed in flames.
The fire was reported in the city’s Schoolhill area at around 10am on Monday (25 February), with six appliances called out to attend the blaze. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed there were no casualties. The incident led to the closure of a number of roads in the area.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Operations control mobilised six fire engines to the city’s Schoolhill, where crews were met by a fire in a ground floor building. A number of people were led to safety by crews. Firefighters extinguished the fire before leaving the scene after ensuring the area had been made safe. There were no casualties.”
