Al Dente has announced the opening of its new restaurant in Angel, marking its fifth location in London.
The restaurant chain is set to launch the new eatery in April 2024, following a string of successful openings that began in 2018.
Following the opening in Angel, Al Dente aims to launch another restaurant in London before the end of 2024.
The founders also plan to further expand operations in the UK capital, doubling the restaurant group’s presence in London within the next two years.
Today, Al Dente’s portfolio includes the flagship restaurant in South Kensington, launched in 2022, which offers a premium dining experience in an upscale setting.
Founded by Roman entrepreneurs Filippo Giulio Gallenzi and Ivo Poklepovic, Al Dente boasts an impressive average annual turnover growth rate of 57% since its inception.
Gallenzi said: “The opening of our new restaurant in Angel sets an important milestone in the brand’s exciting growth path. As Italians, and as Romans, we are proud to be recognised as representatives of authentic Italian culinary tradition in London, a place rich in food lovers and with very high standards in catering. Our commitment is to carry on this philosophy, as we continue our expansion.”
