Alley Cats to open new Chelsea venue

The venue will also have episodes of The Sopranos silently projected onto the exposed brick wall on an endless loop

Alley Cats has announced the opening of its second location on King’s Road in Chelsea at the beginning of August.

This new site will be part of the Sloane Stanely estate on the King’s Road, building on the success of its first Marylebone site.

The restaurant will be led by head chef Francesco Macri offering 14-inch pizzas using produce from Southern Italy.

The new Chelsea location maintains the “charm of its predecessor”, offering a mix of central tables with gingham tablecloths and upcycled church pew-style seating.

Hannah Grievson, property director at Sloane Stanley, said: “Alley Cats will be a fantastic addition to the Sloane Stanley Estate, and highlights our commitment to bringing more F&B choices to the area.

“We consistently champion the very best of independent brands, both restaurants and retailers, as a destination that nurtures brand growth. We look forward to welcoming Alley Cats as an exciting new member to the heart of Chelsea.” Shelley Sandzer acted on behalf of Sloane Stanley in the deal.”
