Baozi Inn to open new flagship restaurant in Borough

London-based dim sum chain, Baozi Inn has announced it is to launch a new flagship restaurant in the city’s Borough area.

The new 120-cover site, which will be located on Southwark Street opposite Flat Iron Square, will join existing premises in Soho and Victoria’s Market Halls. It will serve Baozi Inn’s usual menu of Cantonese dim sum all-day, including dishes such as dan dan noodles, skewers, and buns.

New to the Borough site will be Cantonese roast meats, which have been inspired by the restaurants of Hong Kong. Executive chef Francis Law will add barbecue roast duck, crispy roast pork belly, and caramelised barbecue roast pork to the menu which he says will be “given a welcome kick from the fiery tones of Hunan and Sichuan spicing and influence”.
