Chik’n to rebrand amid Soho House partnership

As part of the relaunch, the group will refurbish its six existing sites, with the Baker Street and Islington sites relaunching on 28 April alongside the brand new Notting Hill branch

Chik’n has announced that it is set to relaunch and rebrand this spring as Chicken Shop, alongside the opening of a new site in Notting Hill and a new partnership with Soho House

The brand said it has partnered with Soho House to help “spread their wings to bring their hero dishes to a host of London locations”.

The brand was first created by Carl Clarke and David Wolanski at Latitude Festival, and after four years of “experimenting” and “innovating”, they said the new partnership will help take their vision “city-wide”.

While the menu will retain some original dishes such as its Straight Up burger, chicken tenders with sticky sichuan sauce and house fries, there will be several new additions, including more options for vegetarians and vegans.

CEO John Nelson said: “Our aim has, and always will be to serve-up the best fried chicken in London; so a name that fits this was super important. This is where our exciting new partnership with Soho House was born.”

Co-founder Clarke added: “We’re very excited about this great partnership and a tasty new name, but as always – our signature food stays the same. We make, and will continue to make, unbeatable fried Chicken. We are Chicken Shop: this is chicken and then some.”
