Chopstix opens fourth Essex site with Basildon Restaurant
Basildon marks the company’s fifth equity opening of 2024, in addition to a number of sites opened with new and existing franchise partners, including Haven and Welcome Break
Chopstix has opened a new site in the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Basildon, marking its fourth site in the county.
The new 52-seat restaurant follows successful sites in Lakeside, Romford and Ilford.
With more than 150 Chopstix Group noodle bars across the UK, the business boasts a strong pipeline of new sites, through both company operated and franchise ownership models.

Chopstix was founded in Camden Market in 2002 by entrepreneurs Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, who remain involved with the business on a day-to-day basis, and is currently undergoing a busy period of expansion.
