Fish and chip chain Harry Ramsden makes Malaysian debut
UK-based fish and chip brand Harry Ramsden has partnered with Genting Malaysia to open a new concept at its Resorts World Genting, Genting Highlands.
Opening on 31 January 2019, this latest addition to the Harry Ramsden’s chain is also the brand’s first ever opening in Malaysia. The integrated resort on the peak of Mount Ulu Kali welcomed 26 million visitors last year and is renowned for its hotels, shopping malls, theme parks, restaurants and casinos.
The Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden, a concept created specially for Resorts World, aims to embody the traditional English pub experience. Guests will be offered an authentic taste of Britain in a setting where the heritage and provenance of Britain’s longest established restaurant brand will be celebrated both in the décor and on the plate. The outlet will also feature a separate Harry Ramsden takeaway counter.
British interiors at The Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden will complement the menu with classic British dishes, including full English breakfast and traditional Sunday Roast, all served with Harry’s own twist.
