Former F1 boss launches pizza restaurant
Flavio Briatore, Italian businessman and former Formula One boss, will be opening his new restaurant Crazy Pizza in London this summer.
Crazy Pizza is the newest addition to Briatore’s growing portfolio of bespoke entertainment-led restaurants, beach clubs and nightclubs across the UK, Italy, Dubai and Monaco.
The restaurant’s traditional chefs will create mozzarella in the theatrical open kitchen and in the evening, guests will enjoy an “immersive and spontaneous” Italian dining experience with world champion dough spinning chefs, animated waiters and live entertainment from DJs spinning vintage tunes reminiscent of La Dolce Vita.
Serving an Italian menu, two award winning Italian chefs head up the mozzarella kitchen This specially designed kitchen is said to bring “something brand new” to the London restaurant scene.
The main dish on the menu is the restaurant’s pizza made with a thin crust, yeast free base created in a Morello oven. Guests can experience the signature ‘Crazy Pizzas’ including the ‘Tartufo’ which is topped with buffalo mozzarella and shavings of fresh black truffle. It will revolutionise guest’s enjoyment of an iconic Italian staple. Every dish on the menu uses fresh Italian ingredients and sourced Sicilian tomatoes.
The interior of the restaurant includes crimson red hues and soft bottle green leather, in an aim to create an elegant style with a “warm, inviting” atmosphere and the walls are decorated with black and white portraits of celebrities.
