Gisborough Hall launches new bar and grill

De Brus Bar and Grill’ has opened at Gisborough Hall hotel in North Yorkshire.

The new restaurant is set to offer a casual dining and drinks throughout the day offering salads, meat and fish grills, dishes to share, vegetarian dishes and “healthy options”.

The bar and grill is led by head chef David Sotheran who has crafted a new menu with dishes including: – salt and pepper squid, sweet-chilli belly with sesame seeds and the power salad with superfoods. In addition, there are classics such as fish and chips, the De Brus chargrilled steak burger and chorizo Scotch egg.

Ruairidh Taylor, hotel manager, Gisborough Hall said: “We decided it was time for a new concept in our bar area and De Brus is the culmination of many months crafting the ideal, relaxed bar and restaurant.

“Head Chef, David Southeran, and his team have worked extremely hard to put together a great mix of dishes at a range of prices and we’re looking forward to sharing our plans going forward.”
