Growth Kitchen teams up with Patty and Bun

The partnership will see Patty and Bun first join Growth Kitchen’s Bermondsey hub along with other food brands such as Tortilla, The Athenian and Kricket

Growth Kitchen, the food-tech startup operating smart satellite kitchen networks, has announced a new partnership with Patty and Bun.

The partnership will see Patty and Bun first join Growth Kitchen’s Bermondsey hub along with other food brands such as Tortilla, The Athenian and Kricket. The collaboration is also expected to power the restaurant’s plans to explore delivery as an integral revenue stream.

The London-centric chain Patty and Bun was launched by food entrepreneur Joe Grossman. The restaurant, which opened its first restaurant in Marylebone in 2012, has 11 shops around London and plans to continue expanding its delivery of locally-curated burgers across the city.

The partnership will aim to allow Patty and Bun to capitalise on Growth Kitchen’s expansion tool, which gives its partner restaurants unique insights into postcodes, such as data on spend and average transaction size, as well as demographic and competitive data.

Grossman said: “Growth Kitchen’s partnership represents an exciting opportunity for us to further our footprint of our delivery, which we’re super excited about! The ability to tap into a whole new catchment of Peckham and Bermondsey and bring some of that Patty love is brilliant – hopefully more to come with Growth in due course.”

Máté Kun, co-founder of Growth Kitchen, added: “It made sense for both brands to team up from the start. Forward-thinking brands such as Patty and Bun see delivery as a key element of their business strategy, and our smart hubs provide restaurants with unique expansion insight, making this partnership a scalable one that can be seamlessly rolled out across our network.”
