Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) has opened the doors to its latest restaurant, Jospa, on the Southbank at Battersea.
Located at Bridge’s Wharf, the riverside eatery offers an all-day dining experience for up to 78 covers. The menu lists a selection of small plates, bowls and light bites alongside a choice of grilled meats, burgers and fish.
With its focus on sustainability, locally sourced ingredients and hand-picked products, Jospa will serve a selection of freshly prepared, home cooked dishes. Headlining will be its meat sharing boards, Sam Brook’s Brewery beer battered fish and chips and Porterhouse steak for two.
The refurbished eatery features a dining room with a living wall, a cocktail bar and new alfresco dining area overlooking the Thames, while center stage in the kitchen is its Josper Grill; a Spanish charcoal oven regarded by chefs worldwide as the “finest method” of cooking steaks, fish and vegetables.
The Thameside restaurant also serves a selection of wines and cocktails With varied menus and a great drinks selection under one roof, IHG general manager Stephen Brown believes that Jospa will be a welcomed addition to the Battersea community.
Brown said: “There has been a great deal of development in the area but when we looked around we soon realised that this part of Battersea was missing a feature restaurant. IHG wanted to launch a premium product at a great value in a relaxed environment; we feel that Jospa will achieve all of this.”
