Jason Atherton to launch four new London dining venues

In March, Atherton announced that his restaurant Pollen Street Social will close on 31 July after 13 years

Jason and Irha Atherton have revealed they are set to open four new London outlets under The Social Company restaurant group brand over the coming months.

The plans include Three Darlings on Chelsea’s Pavilion Road; Hot Dogs by Three Darlings, British restaurant Sael at St James’ Market, and a fine dining destination in Mayfair.

The Atherton’s have confirmed that chef Dale Bainbridge will be on board for this new venture.

Three Darlings, designed by Rosendale Designs, launches in mid-August and the 85 cover restaurant is named in honour of Jason and Irha’s three daughters.

The menu will be seasonally driven and crafted from fresh, locally sourced produce, modern English cuisine infused with European influences.

Set to open in Harrods Food Hall, Hot Dogs by Three Darlings is a 25-seater concept launching on the 15 July.

Five gourmet hot dogs, inspired by flavours from around the world, will be available at any one time, with a rotating celebrity endorsed hot dog, with proceeds donated to charity.

Due to open in September at St James’ Market, Sael will include British cuisine from Jason Atherton and chef Dale Bainbridge, current executive chef at Pollen Street Social.

Sael will span a 9,088 sq ft space, joining the ranks of neighbours such as Fallow and will be set over two floors with 115 covers and a separate bar.

Jason and Irha Atherton said: “After announcing the closure of Pollen Street Social in March, now feels like the right time to reveal our expansion of The Social Company in London. We think that these four very different offerings will each appeal and bring distinct culinary experiences to our guests. We’re also very excited to have Dale Bainbridge on board at launch.

“For us, London’s dining scene is one of the best in the world and the city’s diverse population and its appreciation for innovative dining experiences create an ideal environment for new culinary ventures to flourish.”
