Kare Curry to open in Piccadilly
Japanese curry house, Kare Curry, is set to open in London’s Piccadilly area.
The restaurant will be headed by former Shoryu Ramen head chef Kanji Furukawa, known for his vegetarian curry sauce which features a “secret blend of 18 different spices”. Kare Curry will offer ‘grab and go’ curries including Chicken Katsu, Pork Katsu, Prawn Katsu, Beef Katsu, Chicken Karaage and Pumpkin Croquette, priced at around £7.50 each.
Along with curry dishes, the restaurant will also serve side dishes such as edamame, chicken wings; takoyaki and seaweed salad. Kare Curry will be located at 19 Air Street, with the restaurant yet to rule out further outlets in the capital.
Kare Curry will open in spring 2019, with a soft launch already underway, and will serve from 12pm to 9:30pm on weekdays, until 9pm on Saturdays and until 6pm on Sunday.
