Mediterranean restaurant PYRÃ to open in Queen’s Park
The new restaurant will be led by head chef Mattia Caddeo, who has over 20 years of experience having honed his skills in Italy, Japan and Moscow

PYRÃ, a new restaurant inspired by the flavours of Spain and Greece, will be officially opening in Queen’s Park on Wednesday 19 February.
This new opening will be replacing Lula and is the vision of Andrew Dax, who was also the founder of Chameleon, a pop-up Tel Avivian restaurant at One Marylebone.
The new restaurant will be led by head chef Mattia Caddeo, who has over 20 years of experience having honed his skills in Italy, Japan, Moscow, as well as The Arts Club Mayfair and Alyn Williams at the Westbury in the UK.
PYRÃ is set to “further ignite Queen’s Park dining scene and bring a fresh take on Mediterranean cuisine”, blending fire-grilled specialties with tapas-style sharing plates.
In addition, the restaurant will offer an “extensive” wine list that will be hand selected by the team, and featuring predominantly Greek and Spanish varieties, accompanied by classic cocktails.
Founder Andrew Dax said: “PYRÃ is about bringing people together over the flavours of Spain and Greece, two of the most soulful cuisines in the world.
“We’re creating a space where guests can unwind, share incredible food, listen to great music and make new memories.”
Later on 28 February, the space upstairs will launch a vinyl, wine and cocktail bar also known as ‘The Loft’, where curated records will “set the mood for an evening of exceptional drinks and laid-back vibes”.
The Loft will also host private events and DJ nights, with occasional wellness events, making PYRÃ “a cultural hub for food, music and the local community”.
