Shoryu Ramen announces new opening in Westfield Stratford City
Shoryu Ramen specialises in Hakata tonkotsu ramen from the Hakata district of Fukuoka city
Shoryu Ramen has announced the launch of its newest venue in Westfield Stratford City.
The new opening will become the brand’s 12th opening and is set to open in July this year.
The new venue will be situated at 211 The Balcony and will occupy an area of 79m².
The ramen bar will be decorated with traditional noren curtains, lanterns and wooden menu boards evoking the popular ramen bars of Hakata.

Executive chef Kanji Furukawa, born in Fukuoka city on the southern island of Kyushu, Japan, has crafted Shoryu’s tonkotsu ramen recipe to deliver an “authentic taste rarely found outside Japan”.
