Sloane Place restaurant and hotel launches in Chelsea

Sloane Place restaurant and hotel has launched in Chelsea, London by a team which includes executive chef, Bernhard Mayer and Matt Hobbs, former managing director of The Groucho Club.

Sloane Place is also dog friendly and invites guests to bring their pooches with them when they dine.

Mayer will oversee all aspects surrounding the restaurant. During his 30 year career Mayer has worked at Michelin starred restaurants around the world as well as The Savoy and the Four Seasons Park Lane Hotel in London.

He has created menus with a focus on his favourite cuisines which include European dishes with an Asian twist. Both the breakfast menu and the all day dining menu celebrate “quality ingredients showcased in healthy and simple dishes”.

Breakfast options include, coconut bircher muesli with fresh fruits, ruby grapefruit salad with compressed cucumber and toasted sunflower seeds and London cured Scottish smoked salmon with scrambled free-range eggs, from Haines Farm Berkshire, and lemon.

The all day dining menu, rare grilled yellowfin tuna with pickled cucumber, olive peperonata and lime dressing, baked tofu red curry with tender stem broccoli, black mushrooms, coriander and Jasmine rice and a lobster and prawn burger with mango-chilli relish and avocado in a brioche bun.
