Sticks’n’Sushi to open in Islington this September

Founded by half-Danish, half-Japanese brothers Jens and Kim Rahbeck and Thor Anderson, the group consists of 28 restaurants across Copenhagen, Berlin and the UK

Sticks’n’Sushi, has announced that it will open its 14th UK location in Islington this September.

This marks the brand’s first venture into North London and is part of Sticks’n’Sushi’s growth strategy to extend its reach into London’s residential neighbourhoods.

The space features a large open plan dining room, kitchen counter, lounge and bar, along with outdoor seating.

The new 120-cover, double-fronted, 3,500 sq. ft restaurant will open seven days a week in Upper Street, overlooking Islington Green.

Andreas Karlsson, Sticks’n’Sushi Group CEO, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing Sticks’n’Sushi and our exceptional guest experience to North London this September, creating 50 jobs locally for existing and new fishes to join the Sticks’n’Sushi family.
