Stu Deeley opens new restaurant at Mallory Court

Dishes include Cornish crab with Isle of Wight tomatoes, poussin with jamón sauce, and a peas and mint gazpacho with burrata and globe artichoke

MasterChef winner Stu Deeley has opened The Warwick, a new restaurant within the grounds of Mallory Court Country House Hotel and Spa in Leamington Spa.

The launch marks Deeley’s return to the Eden Hotel Collection, where he began his career, bringing his signature style of ingredient-led British cooking back to the group.

Named after the historic town, The Warwick draws on the region’s heritage of craftsmanship, combining classical technique with contemporary presentation.

The restaurant offers two tasting menus: a five-course Taste of the Season at £105 and a three-course option at £90.

Dishes include Cornish crab with Isle of Wight tomatoes, poussin with jamón sauce, and a peas and mint gazpacho with burrata and globe artichoke.

Desserts take inspiration from his childhood favourites, such as baked Alaska.

Deeley, who won MasterChef: The Professionals in 2019 and was previously head chef at Smoke at Hampton Manor, described the opening as a “deeply personal milestone”.

He said: “The Warwick is my most ambitious project yet – a chance to bring together everything I love about classical cooking, great produce and warm hospitality.”
