The Jones Family Affair opens in Covent Garden
With 150 covers spread over two floors, the new steak restaurant has its own bar and living room style space for customers.
The Jones family have announced the opening of their latest restaurant, The Jones Family Affair, in Covent Garden.
As a sister to The Jones Family Kitchen in Belgravia, this independently-owned steak restaurant and cocktail bar is situated just off Trafalgar Square.Â
The new site has 150 covers which are spread over two floors, and the centre of the restaurant has a large atrium style skylight, with a variety of tables and banquette seating filling the floor space.
This site also hosts a number of spaces for events ranging from four to 30 people, with its own bar and street views. It also includes a living room style space for six to eight people, and the area next to the kitchen is available for those who want to have a private space.
Additionally, the restaurant collaborates with England’s premier farmer and butcher, The Ginger Pig, to create a menu centred around steak from grass fed Longhorn cattle and succulent Tamworth pork.Â
Fish will arrive daily from Cornwall and the South Coast through sustainable wholesaler, Flying Fish. The menu will also include vegan options.
Meanwhile, the bar features a cocktail menu and a curated wine list divided by both style and country, featuring over 30 accessible wines.
The interior of The Jones Family Affair comprises exposed brick walls, low lighting and a long marble bar at the entrance. In addition, the restaurant said its art is another focal point which will continuously change from time to time to showcase young up-coming artists to reflect the “theatreland” of its location.
