Tim Hortons expands into South West of England
The site is set to create 50 new jobs, and represents a continuation along the group’s plans to add 2,000 new jobs across the country
Canadian restaurant brand Tim Hortons has announced a further UK expansion with the opening of a Gloucester restaurant.
Located at Eastern Avenue Retail Park, the site is set to create 50 new jobs, and represents a continuation along the group’s plans to add 2,000 new jobs across the country.
The inaugural South West of England Tim Hortons venue will comprise 94 indoor covers, as well as external seating.
The site will also operate the group’s drive-thru services, while delivery options will be made available following the launch.
Coffee, freshly baked donuts, and timbits will be available at the restaurant, as well as breakfast, lunch and evening meal options.
Kevin Hydes, CCO at Tim Hortons UK, said: “We already have a huge fan base in the South West of England, so are particularly excited to be bringing Tim Hortons to Gloucester for the first time.
“It is in a fantastic location and we are expecting a lot of interest from the surrounding areas, so it is a great start to our expansion in the West Country.”
He added that the group will be “looking to recruit a variety of full and part-time roles” in the near future, telling customers to “keep an eye out for more news as we develop our plans”.
