Twickenham Stadium to open new restaurant in partnership with Tom Kerridge
Twickenham Stadium is to open a new restaurant in partnership with Tom Kerridge as part of an £81m refurbishment.
An 18-month construction schedule has seen 6,700 sq mt added to the stadium concourse for 4,500 new hospitality season ticket holders, which will include the 1000-cover restaurant, named The Lock. The restaurant will be themed on the England rugby team and will change the menu to reflect the team’s opponents.
The restaurant will be opened for the first time at Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership match between Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers, and the restaurant’s launch will be at the England national side’s game against South Africa.
England Rugby Hospitality said: “We are all waiting to see the new menu for the first time on Saturday. Tom is a huge rugby fan and wanted to be our signature chef. He will be in the restaurant on match days and will meet guests.”
