Where The Pancakes Are has launched a £550,000 crowdfunding campaign to support its UK expansion plans.
Its first restaurant near Borough Market opened in 2016, and its online shop was launched in April 2020. Its second restaurant in Fitzrovia opened its doors in June 2021.
A third restaurant is set to open in Battersea later in 2022, which aims to capitalise on what it said is a “growing demand in a UK eating-out market, which is expected to reach £28.6bn by 2027”.
The campaign was launched on May 12 and will run until June 8.
The company said it is “now ready to fast-track our growth to open more locations that hit the uniquely broad customer appeal of pancakes, attracting local residents, office workers, as well as tourists and day-trippers”.
