Temper Burger to open in White City

Inspired by temper’s cheeseburger taco, temper Burger will offer a menu of smash burgers, created by chef director David Lagonell

Steakhouse and barbecue restaurant temper will open temper Burger, a brand new smash burger experience in White City, on the 17 April.

Inspired by temper’s cheeseburger taco, temper Burger will offer a menu of smash burgers, created by chef director David Lagonell exclusively using sustainable British meat, sourced from a single Yorkshire supplier with regeneratively managed estates.

Temper’s practice of in-house butchering and ageing allows for an eco-conscious approach at the burger joint, resulting in minimal waste and the use of fewer cattle.

All of the smash burgers are served as a double patty with brioche buns, with choices including a Kimcheese Burger, a Sloppy Joe paired with smoky chilli, and a range of beef, chicken and veggie burgers.

Customers will also be able to choose whether to enjoy their burger with temper’s skinny fries or beef-fat chips, made plain or “temper style”. There will also be a chilli cheese fries option, served with a mini-raclette burner and topped with bourbon pickled chillies, confit garlic and crispy shallots.

To finish, customers can enjoy a Brigadeiro cookie and milk ice cream or choose from one of temper’s drunken sorbets.

Drinks will include cocktails made in collaboration with London RTD brand, Moth, including a Margarita, Mojito and Negroni.

Temper co-founder, Sam Lee de Lagonell, said: “We are thrilled to introduce temper Burger to the London community. Since having first launched back in 2016, we are delighted to continue temper’s journey and see it grow from strength to strength, and to partner with the likes of Moth is so exciting for us. Expect to find all your favourite flavours and the usual quality, but now between buns – temper in every bite.”
