Greggs has reported “good” like-for-like sales growth over Q3. According to the high street bakery chain, September proved to be the strongest month of the quarter, having launched its autumn menu that includes pumpkin spice doughnuts and lattes. The group expects its full year guidance for capital expenditure in 2024 to remain in line with expectations.

Cooks Coffee’s independent director Paul Elliot has stepped down. Gordon Robinson will assume the role of chair of the audit committee. Robinson was recently appointed to the board as part of the ongoing focus on building the UK capability, and brings a wealth of experience.

Admiral Taverns has finished a £178k refurb of The Goodrest Tavern in Worcester. As part of the investment, the pub has revamped its games offering by updating the dartboards, pool tables and skittle alley for customers to enjoy.
