Krispy Kreme is considering selling its majority stake in Insomnia Cookies, exploring strategic alternatives to unlock value. Krispy Kreme acquired the stake in 2018 and expects Insomnia Cookies to generate approximately $230m (£189.5m) in 2023 revenues. This move allows Krispy Kreme to focus on its core strategy of producing, selling, and distributing fresh doughnuts while pursuing global expansion plans. 

Indegno, an Italian restaurant and fast-casual food brand, is gearing up to open its first UK location on Brick Lane in London this November. The brand, which was founded in 2019 in Bologna, Indegno, expanded to three locations in Italy in 2022. The restaurant uses organic flours and authentic ancient grains to craft its vegan dough, which is then filled with a variety of delicious ingredients.

Peach Pubs is set to take over the day-to-day operations of The Three Horseshoes in Letchmore Heath, Hertfordshire. The pub, which has been in operation for over two centuries, underwent substantial refurbishment and reopened in Spring 2022. The successful first year of trading led to the decision to secure a tenant to continue the pub’s success. Chris Stagg, director of Peach Pubs, expressed excitement about taking over the operation of the pub.
