Ormer Mayfair by Sofian in Mayfair has been awarded its first Michelin star in the 2024 Great Britain and Ireland Guide. The star was announced at the Michelin Guide Ceremony Great Britain and Ireland Guide 2024 in Manchester on 5 February.

Compass Group UK&I has spent over £3m of its Apprenticeship Levy to support 250 apprentice programmes across 170 organisations. Organisations that have so far benefitted are spread across the UK, ranging from Brewhouse and Kitchen, New College Oxford and Sidney Sussex College.

Pavyllon London has been awarded its first Michelin star. Set within Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, the restaurant is one of 18 new one-star restaurants in the UK and Ireland. Pavyllon is the debut London restaurant from multi-Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno.

Sticks’n’Sushi has refurbished its Greenwich restaurant in celebration of the venue’s ninth birthday. The restaurant, which has a dual Japanese and Danish style for both the menu and interiors, will unveil its new look on Saturday 10 February. Sticks’n’Sushi Greenwich will benefit from more open and flexible dining spaces, and a bar that features a new stone top.
