Today’s news in brief – 12/03/24

Domino’s revenues rose 11.1% to £679.8m for the year to 31 December, due to an increase in system sales volumes, acceleration of store openings and the pass-through of increased food cost. For FY24, the group plans to open a further 70 stores, with 33 of those already underway. 

Boxpark will open its Liverpool site on Friday 19 April in the historic Canning Hall as part of the Cains Brewery Village situated in the Baltic Triangle. The news comes as Boxpark has agreed a 15-year lease with the brewery village. Boxpark aims to invest more than £5m into the Baltic Triangle and expects to bring 150 new jobs to the local community. 

Los Mochis will open its flagship rooftop restaurant on Thursday 11 April. Founded by Markus Thesleff,  Los Mochis London City will bring its Pan-Pacific pairing of Mexican-Japanese cuisine from West London to Liverpool Street. 

Cinnamon Collection has been awarded three-stars by the SRA. The accreditation recognises Cinnamon Collection’s ongoing commitment to operating sustainably across three core pillars, sourcing, society and environment. The company has also ensured team members do not work over 48 hours a week and are paid for overtime.
