JD Wetherspoon has hit back at TUC for calling it a low-pay employer, saying that the Trade Union Congress’ criticism of its business model and employment style is “completely inaccurate and unjustified”. The TUC’s comments were from an interview in The Telegraph, in which it also named Amazon, Sports Direct and P&O Ferries “anti-union employers”.
