Today’s news in brief – 20/02/24

NTIA and IoH are joining forces on the Leave No One Behind campaign, which is aimed at advocating for the survival and recovery of their collective membership of over 20,000 businesses in the UK. The united campaign comes ahead of the Spring Budget, due to be announced on 6 March 2024, with both bodies hoping to advocate for their members.

Costa Coffee will open 11 new locations within Sainsbury’s supermarkets throughout 2024.  The collaboration between the two brands will cater to the evolving needs and preferences of supermarket customers, who are looking for convenient, great-quality coffee. 

Nightcap has acquired The Piano Works for £200k, following a pre-pack administration. The Piano Works, which was launched in 2015 in a large Victorian warehouse site in Farringdon, London, is an interactive live music entertainment concept. Since November 2023, The Piano Works has had a very successful residency within Nightcap’s Barrio Covent Garden venue. 

The William Morgan will reopen tomorrow (21 February), following an investment from Stonegate Group. The Prestatyn pub has undergone a full renovation, featuring brand new decoration throughout, an extensive outdoor space with new fixed seating to the front of the main building and a little suntrap beer garden to the rear.
