Robinson Brewery has increased its investment spend in pubs to £1.6m during Q1. This rise in investment spending represents a three-fold increase on Robinson Brewery’s 2023 levels. According to Robinson Brewery and its business partners, the rise in investment is a sign of more long-term post pandemic confidence. 

Chef Tom Waters has unveiled his first permanent restaurant, Gorse, in Cardiff. Having earned his stripes in “prestigious” London kitchens, including stints at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck, The Square and Bonhams, chef Waters returned to his Welsh roots with his pop-up concept Gorse, 18 months ago. Waters stated that the transition from pop-up sensation to permanent fixture marks a significant milestone for Gorse.
