Nightcap has revealed plans to re-register as a PLC, after directors undertook an “extensive” review to evaluate the benefits and drawbacks of this transition. For the year ended 30 June, Nightcap still expects to report revenues that are in line with current market expectations, with adjusted EBITDA expected to be below current market expectations. 

Heavitree Brewery has reported a turnover rise of 2.1% to £3.3m in H1. The company said to have “performed well” despite the combination of weeks of cold and wet weather conditions and a very early Easter weekend which could have had an adverse effect on number comparisons.

Heavenly Desserts will open a new venue in Solihull on Saturday 6 July. Located in Parkgate Shopping Centre complex in Solihull, the 44-capacity restaurant will replace part of the old Pizza Express unit. The launch brings Heavenly Desserts closer to 60 sites around the UK, with more restaurants set to launch nationwide in the coming months.
