Revolution Bars Group has completed its fundraising and restructuring plan, which is set to go ahead as planned next week (3 September). The plan, which was launched on 31 May, will enable the company to restructure certain of its liabilities. The board expects the plan to deliver a significant annualised EBITDA improvement of £3.8m.

HOSPA’s learner enrolment on its courses rose by 20% in 2024. The growth in enrolment comes as HOSPA Professional Development continues to expand its offering, with the recent launch of two new courses. The latest saw its Empowering Hospitality IT Leadership Workshop launch in August 2024.

St Austell Brewery has acquired The Bell at Broadway near Ilminster for an undisclosed amount. This latest pub will join the independent brewer’s estate of 122 leased and tenanted pubs across the West Country. The Bell at Broadway is a recently refurbished 17th-Century Inn, located three miles outside of Ilminster in the village of Broadway.

Caulders Garden Centre in Glasgow will build a new restaurant. The new 300-seat venue comes after a £1.5m investment. As part of Caulders sustainability journey, the roof will host more than 175 solar panels that will have a 92% efficiency rating – saving 12.5 tonnes of CO2 a year. The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2025.
