AA Hospitality unveils The Pub Guide 2020

AA Hospitality and Hotel Services has revealed The Pub Guide 2020: 2,000 pubs for great beer and good food, is published today, Monday 1 July, with a brand new look and feel.

The 21st edition of the AA Pub Guide is a guide to the country’s best pubs by county, with pubs chosen for their atmosphere, good beer and great food.

 From destination pubs to local favourites, The Pub Guide 2020 includes many old favourites, plus new destinations for eating and drinking, with several pubs making it into the Guide for the first time this year.

This brand new and revamped guide offers an in-depth guide to the UK’s pub scene, with a detailed description of each pub included. It also lists directions, child and dog friendliness, to whether it offers facilities such as parking or a garden. There’s also an insight into each pub’s real ale, real cider and wine by the glass offerings.

Of the 2,000 pubs included, there are also highlighted ‘Pick of the Pubs’ entries, representing the best AA-recommended pubs in different regions, selected by the AA’s expert inspectors, editorial team, and reader suggestions.

Many of the pubs included in this year’s guide are also well known for their culinary offerings; over 250 of the pubs in The Pub Guide 2020 have been awarded AA Rosettes for the quality of their cuisine. Pubs with accommodation have their AA star rating displayed. In addition to the pub listings, The Pub Guide 2020 includes articles on the latest trends in the pub and bar scene, such as the rising popularity of spirits, as well as details of the winners of the new AA Inn of the Year and the current annual AA Pub of the Year awards, recognising the best pubs in England, Scotland and Wales.
