Two Magpies’ bakery and cafe opens in Framlingham
The new site will offer 50 covers and will be open 7 days a week, from 8am-5pm, offering a limited lunch and breakfast menu to start with, rolling out to a full menu as per all larger Magpie sites
Two Magpies is today (5 April) officially opening its latest bakery and cafe in Framlingham.
The new bakery, the tenth in the Two Magpies Group, is housed in the old Barclays Bank on Market Square. The new addition to the town will support local commerce and create new jobs in the area.
Two Magpies got the keys to the Framlingham site just six weeks ago and has worked hard to completely refurbish the space to create the new bakery and cafe that will be the largest in the group at over 3,000 square feet.
The new site will offer 50 covers and will be open 7 days a week, from 8am-5pm, offering a limited lunch and breakfast menu to start with, rolling out to a full menu as per all larger Magpie sites. Also available will be takeaway hot drinks, partries, cakes and bread, all handmade by the Two Magpies team.
Steve Magnall, owner and CEO of the Two Magpies Group, said: “We are delighted to be opening another branch in Suffolk and expanding the Two Magpies family. We have received huge support from locals and visitors over the years and are thrilled to be celebrating our tenth opening.”
Two Magpies Group now has sites in Norwich, Blakeney, Holt, Woodbridge, Wells-next-the-Sea, Beccles, Aldeburgh, Darsham, Southwold and Framlingham.
Yasmin Wyatt, operations director said: “We opened two new sites last year and celebrated our tenth year. Now we’ve finally reached double figures with this latest opening!
“What really makes all the hard work worthwhile is reading the comments from both our present and our future customers every time we open a new bakery and cafe, they have always been so positive and supportive and Framlingham is no different.”
