Boxpark introduces four new food traders
Vegan Wing Shack, Crust Bros, Dough Bakehouse and Vegan Shack will open in its Shoreditch and London locations his month
Boxpark is set to introduce four new food traders across its sites in Shoreditch and Croydon, including two brand-new vegan food traders.
Vegan Wing Shack, the sister brand to Wing Shack Co, will open in Boxpark Shoreditch this month. Wing Shack was founded in 2017 by three friends, and after success launching restaurants across the capital, the brand took a “keen interest” in the vegan market. Vegan WIng Shack’s boneless ‘wings’ are completely allergen and gluten free and there are six sauces to choose from, as well as crispy chick’n tenders and a selection of sides.
Meanwhile, Crust Bros will open in both the Shoreditch and Croydon locations. The group began by selling Pizza at London’s food markets, pop-ups and music festivals. After three years of street food trading, its first full restaurant opened in Waterloo, followed by a second site in Wandsworth. Their menu includes items such as the Seven Nation Salami topped with creamy burrata, as well as vegan and gluten free menus.
Dough Bakehouse is set to open a unit in Croydon this month. Founded in 2019 by British businesswoman and media personality Carina Lepore, former winner of The Apprentice, Dough Bakehouse is an in-house bakery and cafe offering a range of coffees, milkshakes, sandwiches, savoury pastries and porridges. After winning the show, Lepore entered into a 50:50 partnership with Alan Sugar investing £250,000 into the family-run bakery. Boxpark Croydon will mark its third location in South London.
Finally, Vegan Shack will also open at the Croydon site. It was first launched in Manchester in 2019, and aims to make fast-food “good enough for meat eaters”. Its menu offers a selection of sweet and savoury options, including a range of plant-based burgers like the Fillet Faux Fish and Chick’n Strip Burger, tater tots, plus a selection of desserts and vegan milkshakes.
