Boxpark posts £3.9m PBT
Boxpark currently runs three venues in London, Wembley, Shoreditch and Croydon, with plans to expand beyond London in the next few year
Boxpark has announced that it has posted a profit before tax of £3.9m for the year ended 30 April 2023, up from the £3.5m it posted in the previous year.
Alongside this the company posted a gross profit of £8.8m for the full year compared with £8.5m last year.
The company’s profits were boosted by a number of large events including the Women’s Euros in July 2022 and Men’s World Cup in November and December.
As a result of this the company posted a turnover of £20.5m for the year compared with £18.9m the year before.
The company stated that it held around 600 events last year, helping to protect it from external economic pressures.
Simon Champion, Boxpark CEO, said: “We are pleased with our results in this period, delivering growth in like-for-like sales. We’ve successfully navigated a challenging trading environment with high-cost inflation, a stress on consumer spending and changing patterns of consumers going out.”
