Soho House to open first Manchester location

Motel and diner brand Mollie’s, which was created by Soho House’s founder, is also due to open a 140-room site on the lower floors of the Granada Studios building

Soho House has announced plans to open its first members’ club in Manchester later this year.  

The Manchester opening will be the 13th UK Soho House club and fourth outside of London, following the group’s launch in Brighton last year. Members’ clubs are also located in Oxfordshire and Somerset.

The members’ club will take over the top two floors of the old Granada Studios building overlooking a rooftop pool and outdoor terrace, with the remaining floors of the building set to feature members’ events spaces and overnight bedrooms.

In addition, the location will also include a gym on the first floor that will include a free weights area, boxing zone, studio space, sauna and an outdoor terrace. Changing rooms will have showers, vanity areas and lounge spaces for members to relax after training.

Soho House was founded in London in 1995 and now has over 211,000 global members.
